The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it is how the site pays for itself without ads or sponsored posts.
The Amazon part
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Amazon links on this site are affiliate links under the Amazon Associates program. We do not display Amazon prices, star ratings, or review counts, because they change constantly and a permanent page would show you stale numbers. Check the current price and reviews on Amazon before you buy.
Our own products
The shop sells things we make ourselves: templates on Etsy and books published through Amazon. Links to our own listings are not affiliate links. We earn nothing beyond the sale itself, and we do not tag our own book links with an Associates tracking ID. When a guide mentions one of our products, the guide says so in plain text, and every product page names who the product is not for.
How recommendations are made
A product appears in a guide because it does a specific job in a system we actually use — not because it has an affiliate program. The order of work is fixed: the system is tested first, the guide is written second, and affiliate links are added last, only where a product was already named. No brand pays for placement, sends us products in exchange for coverage, or reads a guide before publication.
Every guide that recommends a product also says who that product is not for. If we cannot name who should skip it, we do not recommend it.
How affiliate links are marked
Every post that contains affiliate links carries a disclosure banner at the top of the article, before the first link — not buried in a footer. All affiliate links open in a new tab and are tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" so search engines treat them as the paid links they are.
What we do with the money
Commissions pay for hosting, for the products we test and return or keep at our own expense, and for the hours of testing behind each guide. That is the entire business model. There is no email funnel, no course, and no premium tier waiting behind a curtain.
